Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 23, 2016

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected by the iOS Application Dot In A Maze and what it is used for. I myself (Jan Braun, sole developer of Dot In A Maze) do not collect or save any personally identifiable information. But as long as you did not upgrade to the AdFree version of the game, certain information may be collected by a third party (Chartboost, Inc) for the purpose of personalized advertisements only.

As described above, Dot In A Maze uses the Chartboost API to display interstitial ads, which may collect certain device specific data such as: bundle ID, language ID, operating system version, device model, software developer kit (SDK) version, unique device identifier, IP address, and Media Access Control (MAC) address. Chartboost also receives information about end users from advertisers or advertising services companies such as mobile device identifiers, IP addresses, website cookie information and usage data. They combine the information they collect about end users with additional demographic, geolocation and interest-based segment data, along with cookie information, from third-party providers. The additional information they access and collect may determine the nature of the ad that you see.
The Chartboost API also provides certain Post-Install Analytics which are not used by the App. For more information you can find the Privacy Policy of Charboost on their website linked below.

If you want to disable interest-based advertisments you can go to the settings of your iOS mobile device, go to "Privacy" > "Advertising" and turn on "Limit Ad Tracking".

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. If I make any changes to this Policy, I will change the "Last Updated" date above.
